Dressing up for Valentine’s Day Today

Though your little black dress (LBD) is a girl’s favorite party staple, it does not work for all gatherings. And also, you cannot repeat similar outfits always. Here are a few options you could try this Valentine’s season for your various outings.

A house party A strappy, monochrome maxi dress with a pair of stilettos or peep-toe wedges will add definition to your silhouette. Leave your hair straight, with a middle parting for the girl-next-door look.

Party by the Beach When you are out on a Valentine party at a beach cafe, you can’t go wearing a LBD and stilettos. Rather look for something that is comfortable and stylish. Strappy flats with a long skirt paired with a shirt that has some knotty details. You could also sport a halter neck dress and tie up your hair in a bun.

To a city pub A fitted sleeveless dress with some bling detailing paired with strappy stilettos can add to your chic look. Opt for a high bun, done up with a crystal or diamante tiara or hair band.

Trek to the hills When you and your partner decide to go on a mountain or jungle trail, opt for fitted stretch denim pants, white shirt or tee and a light jacket. Keep your accessories to a minimum. Fancy studded or fringed boots would make a statement.
