How to wear white clothes in any season

For a lot of us folks , white is an intimidating color.

A color that can give us cold feet on any given day especially during those days if you know what we mean! It is such a pressure to wear this angelic color. The mere thought of wearing white gives us anxiety attack. But, let’s not fret, ’cause here’s a stylish guide to wearing white to brighten up those dark days of the year!

Whether you’re planning for a casual Sunday brunch or maybe a stroll down your favourite shopping place or a fancy get-together – we’ve rounded up some of our favourite way of wearing white. If you think it’s all a bit too much white, au contraire there exist tons of shades of white you can embrace, for instance ivory, pearly, natural, pasty, ash, dove, natural, off-white, cream, beige… ah so many options! And, if you can’t commit to the entire look just yet, we’ve picked a few colorful accessories to help you ease into it with confidence — and sans stains (you can do it.)

1) Flare the white!

Perfect for summers – white, loose trousers and light-weighted fabrics will ease your summers. In case you end up feeling like an angel just add colors to your look with a pair of bright colored shoe.

2) Black + White!

Black + white or as a fashionista would pinpoint – It’s MONOCHROME!, is undeniably one of the best look you should try if you wish to wear whites. Pair a strappy black heels with a white blazer like Karlie Kloss, or suit up the Emma Watson’s way with black sexy pumps and red lip. And if you are up for some really chic mood then grab your white coat, slide into your favourite leather pants, strap your winter boots and accessorize them with a floppy hat!

3) Fold ’em up!

Ah… another easy breezy look! This one’s for the sunny winters. Folded pants, minimal accessorizing and a great pair of pumps. Perfect for a casual lunch get-together.

4) Little white dress!

Because Little Black Dress wasn’t enough. The shades of white adds an ethereal appeal to the “little dress”. Minimal styling is the key to wearing a ‘Little White Dress’.

5) This Purrfect white unicorn.

Just kidding!

6) Jack-et it up.

The beauty of wearing white is you can pair it with any other color. Be it an indigo blazer or a denim jacket. The former being ideal for office, while the latter for a casual outing.

7) A lacey affair!

Romantic, lady-like and oh so graceful, lace is the epitome of femininity. Keep it minimal, yet again! Complete the look with a smart pair of heels and maybe a bright-colored earring. Nothing much!

8) The ‘shorts’ cut!

Perfect for summers, shorts are your best friends. Sneakers+ cute tops+ shorts is everyone’s summer staple. But just for a change pair your shorts with a chic heel like how ‘cool girl’ Alexa Chung and ‘street style star’ Taylor Swift wore.

9) Flaunt the twirl of the skirt!

How could we miss out on skirts. It’s a staple for us. Love the way Olivia Palermo (left) has styled her white skirt with a retro polka-dot blouse and a matching pair of heels. The hint of bright mustard in Jade Rose’s (centre) all-white look and Taylor Swift’s white laser cut leather midi skirt is making us jot down our wishlist for the summers.

10) Make a statement!

Another way you can wear a white in its best form is by pairing up with a statement accessory, like a neckpiece. It gets even better when it’s a bright colored accessory. Else there is always a denim to the rescue. Whether in the form of dungarees, or jeans!

These aren’t the ONLY way to wear whites but these guides can shape your thoughts to a better styling decision. Happy dressing…
